It's always the pesky trans people that are the problem. Do you think it's a coincidence you're blaming the same exact people Conservatives spent $250billion demonizing? Do you think conceding to Conservative propaganda isn't divisive and disastrous?

It's not "trans people" that are the problem. It's people like Alias that are the problem. I will go to my death battling for trans rights, as a fellow queer person I believe we all win or we all lose. But I'm also pragmatic, and I will take the 90% win, then come back and fight for the final 10%

Lmfao, this is the same logic that's allowed trans rights to get rolled back for the last decade while Dems refuse to fight back. We're going to be getting rounded up into camps while people like you will insist it's pragmatic to not respond to GOP attacks.

as someone who's been in this fight for over 40 years, I understand the frustration, but I also know that demanding perfection from everyone every time is NOT the answer. it's what petulant children do, or those who don't really want a solution.

You can't fight bigotry by insisting it shouldn't be talked about and is a distraction. Trans rights kept getting rolled back through the Biden admin because ppl like you are fine with it happening. And then you lecture us for having the audacity to speak out. And still you blame us for your losses.

Asking for inclusion isn't perfection, it's the bare minimum. I'm not here to purity test the movement into nothing. I'm asking for a political party to stand their ground, learn the bare minimum about our community, and show support with their chest. It's not hard. It's been done before.

Also, it's no surprise that the people in office who are able to properly address the trans community are actively standing up for many other marginalized communities and promoting their rights in office. Pramila Jayapal is the perfect example.

I said just the opposite. Please read posts before attacking an ally!

You're insisting trans rights are a distraction. That's not how to be an ally, because it's the same exact line the people who want us removed from society keep saying. Y'all want to get credit for being "allies" while falling directly into conservative lines of thinking that are harming us.

You're the one insisting politicians attacking my equality are a distraction that shouldn't be brought up. What benefit is a coalition with those who are proud of the fact they won't actually stand up for people like me?

Of course, I have stood and will stand up for any victim of MAGA authoritarianism and persecution, etc. You are misunderstanding me. Please vent your anger on those who are your opponents.
