Jess, I am discussing Newsom as a purely transactional figure that can help turn the tides so we can stop the fascism. Until you can present me an actual plan that doesn't involve Newsom that will allow the Dems and progressives to gain more power in upcoming midterms, this conversation is over.

Newsom is a transactional figure who's actively laundering Trump and Co's $260billion in propaganda against trans people. You can't beat fascism by elevating figures going on media tours insisting that the fascists have a point. The transaction going on here is working in the fascists' favor.

Unfortunately, he is actually very popular among the Dem base, and would likely claim the independents that Harris couldn’t corral in 2024. Doesnt make his policies correct, but he is a popular figure.
