Jess you won't like this but the trans issue is not a "wide swath" issue. It maybe to you, I understand and I actually support and defend trans people, BUT stuff like the economy, immigration, inflation, democracy, corruption will poll much much higher in import to the vast majority of Americans.
Yes, all those poll much higher. So you're not winning over voters with antitrans bigotry. But you are losing the 2 million+ adult trans voters, along with the votes of those who care about us. That's enough to swing the election.
