A national policy choice, it seems. Hard to hold just local or regional officials responsible... There are some seeming successes overseas. I hope we learn those lessons, instead of repeating the just move'em & move'em again tactics

Nah, no one is forcing Newsom to attack homeless people and destroy their belongings. Stop making excuses for his actions just because he's affiliated with the blue party.

Assaults on the homeless are wrong, period. As are all yr assumptions. I'm just trying to make sense of this, not make excuses. More importantly, I want to see practical solutions. Got any?

Don't send government forces to attack homeless people, for a start. And don't support the politicians who push for it.
