Rewatching 2019... its gotta be Cody. I do think there was something that just didn't align quite right with him and AEW, but I feel like it felt most like AEW when he was there. At least, until the last 9-12 months. Still, I hope to one day see him back, but I can't imagine that being the case.
I think Cody always wanted to be a Cena-type character, and AEW's core fanbase was the people who chanted "Cena sucks" for a decade
I guess it's the same feeling when one of the original formation of your favourite band leaves, they might find another member as good as him but it's just... Different.
