YouTube has expanded Hype to now be available in 39+ countries. Newly added countries include: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Hype is a feature announced last year that allows communities to 'Hype' a video into a leaderboard to increase its discovery. It is currently free for subscribers in the above countries, but paid Hype is being tested in Brazil and Turkey. Details: blog.youtube/news-and-eve...
