We are just six months in. They are speed running fascism (P2025). They MUST control Congress to make it all work. By midterms it’s going to be blatant cheating but nobody will step in to save what’s left of the Republic. By the end of 2026 I’m thinking >90% chance full blown fascism. Buckle up

Any bet that isn't Yes is a loser. There are laws but they're not strong enough. 100 ft from polling doors is all we have right now. Need to add: No yelling or other forms of intimidation including display of guns. No loitering. Also reverse laws penalizing handing out water in long lines.

I whole heartedly feel your first bio line. Makes me physically ill sometimes but I can't not look so I'm aware. And I also do not feel optimistic that our democracy will still be functional by 2026. Are there enough special elections for House seats to flip before then?
