My XM3's headband broke a few years ago (I would fall asleep with them on), so I just taped them up and used them as workshop headphones. I tried 3d printing replacements and they sucked. But I found a replacement headband online!

Mine broke in the same place! I had them taped together for years and the tape kept falling off, and eventually I superglued it and it held.

For me it's small things. The remote for my dad's big fan got rusted through, and I managed to get it working with a bit of solder and a paperclip :p

Love my XM3s but they keep making an awful crackling noise in the right ear. Not always, but frequent enough to be annoying. Workhorse headphones though with insane sound quality.

Like a sort of creaking/ticking, occasionally? Mine do this too, I thought it could be loose housing or something but I haven't been able to track it down.

Nah, it's almost like the wind howling. I think it's a problem with one if the noise cancelling mics. Just gonna suffer through until the 6s later in the year

That's awesome you found a replacement headband! I've got the XM4's and have worn them daily for like 5 years. Thinking about them breaking like that makes me sad
