The Bruce Willis documentary with his wife and Diane Sawyer is a massive tearjerker… What empathy I have for Emma, his wife, and his entire extended family. Such an unrelenting and rapid disease. So tragic. #Hulu

what's the exact disease he's suffering from? And how did he look??
It’s a form of dementia and the neurologist interviewed for the doc called it the black belt of dementia… it’s brutal. He doesn’t know he’s sick, barely talks and recently his family made a decision to move him into his own house next-door with 24/7 home care. There’s no cure - very progressive.
Thank you, that's devastating. He was in a movie I believe as recently as 2-3 years ago? It was during the time he made a ton of crappy straight to streaming type movies and everyone was wondering why. He wanted to earn as much as possible for his fam cuz he knew he wouldn't be coherent much longer
My grandfather had Alzheimer's and now my mom has initial stages of dementia and I'm terrified.
Such a tragic disease for the family… It’s heartbreaking for the patient, but they don’t know that. Sending prayers for your mom 🙏
Thank you very much. And yes, she refuses to acknowledge that her mental acuity is slipping. When she misplaces things, which is often, she always blames my Dad for "hiding" them. Like, why would we do that? ugh.
I watched it the other night. Sad. Our nation does not support care givers. Emma is a hero!
She’s a saint… and so are all the others who are battling this with a loved one, what an isolating and hollow place to be.
