There’s no reason Bader shouldn’t be in the lineup every game from here on. If you have to cut down on some other guy’s playing time, that’s too bad, we’re back in a division race now.

There is a reason this team hits at a 110 avg when pinch hitting. "Topper" doesn't let guys learn how to do it! Kepler, Marsh and Wilson should pinch hit in EVERY game.
If you say “Well, Marsh and Kepler are having a good August, we should try to keep their bats in the lineup”, I actually agree! And there’s a very easy way to do that!
It’s a good matchup to give Casty the night in RF. But I agree that CF/LF needs to be Bader/Marsh really no matter the matchup.
Honestly I just don’t care about Casty “getting going”. His upshot, in like best case scenario, is maybe being a .800 hitter with some of the worst outfield defense in the league. I’d rather just start Kepler at this point.
That’s the reasonable take (I root for Casty as a character). I also have been mostly anti-Crawford as an answer, but I don’t think Casty or Kepler are good enough to prevent a let’s-see-if-we-can-be-a-speed-and-defense outfield if they were so inclined.
If the Phillies don't win the World Series this year, I don't want Casty or Topper back in Clearwater come February
