I see Harris got 82.2% of the vote in New Orleans. Even San Francisco only got 80.3% and we are pretty damn full of Democrats here. We'd be higher if not for all the rich tech bros who care more about cutting their taxes and stopping regulations on AI more than anything else.

Most cities are blue. And, due to the magic of them having more people they also have more crime…possibly not per capita, but that's too much thinking for MAGA brains. I'm pleased he's actually considering going to places where more crime exists. Still, though, the phrasing is shameful.

Right. It's not actually about "crime," it's a show of force against states that grant the opposition party votes. That said, we shouldn't be relieved here because Landry is vile toady who will send our Nat'l Guard to other states and Johnson will give the thumbs up.

Why would you be pleased sending the NG to occupy any US city. Crime has many factors, much of which lies with poverty, how about addressing that aspect first before we start turning every city into a prison camp.
