The majority of vehicles on the road don't have frames. There's many things wrong with the Cybertruck but that's not one of them.

It is for a vehicle purporting to be a heavy-duty pickup truck, and one that weighs as much as the Cybertruck. And other designs don't rely on an outer shell of steel plates to hold the thing together.

Most heavy duty trucks have frames. The Cybertruck has one, it's just been shown to be fragile when tested (prone to snapping/shearing/etc). They aren't well made trucks.
