I used to weaponise this by putting a 500-kronor bill in one of the pockets of my winter jacket when it was time to hang it in for the spring and summer. And then when it came back out, voila! 500 kronor I didn't know I had to do something fun with.

Crikey, that is bad. Maybe put a little post-it on the cupboard door when you put snacks in? You know, flag the cupboard? Can't risk perfectly good snacks going off due to forgetfulness.
