I map my backup drive to B. And my dev drive is, of course, D.

I usually map Optical Drives or SD Card readers to A: and/or B: now...
Of course, because why not? [I repeats to myself, sweating profusely while my finger shakes, unable to depress the mouse button that would assign the drive letter.]

I'm always worried I'll run into some program that hardcodes an assumption that A: and B: are floppy drives, so I've never done that.
I'm even a bit surprised Windows let's you use A: and B: otherwise, given how many other legacy things remain
It's a niche for sure. There's not that many chaotic-evil drive mappers around.

I remember A:\ drives, though... that's how old I am.
