The media was only concerned about Biden's health when they saw it as a risk to the Dems staging a viable defense against the specter of Trump There is no similar concern behind what a sick Trump might mean. They don't believe there is any worse outcome waiting in the wings, if his health fails

Sure they did. There was such worry that he'd lose to Trump because of his health. They saw the risk as being way too high. Clooney wrote an entire op ed about it. And in so doing they tipped the scales for Trump. It's exactly what happened. They fucked us all the same.
If the information comes from Trump, Vance, his doctor, his spawn, or his close minions it will be lies. Expect them to continue to make excuses and say he is the healthiest president who ever lived. When Trump finally had the decency to kick it I wouldn't be surprised if they hid the fact for days.
