Morris is charged under state criminal laws. The president can’t pardon state crimes. But the governor, who can’t technically grant pardons, is Trump symp Greg Abbott, who CAN & HAS pressured the TX Parole Board to grant improper pardons. He did it last year for a man who murdered a BLM protester.
