Yes, and that too would have been stupid. If the person I was responding to had said: "If this had been Biden, right wing media would have been all over it and THAT is a problem," I would not have objected.

The problem is the media.They ignore or exacerbate depending on the sell. We have the same here in the UK. Diane Abbot, a long-standing Labour MP is constantly being harressed by the press for 'gaffs', none of it is fair or reasonable, but it goes on, and the serious stuff is ignored.

Okay, but the problem is that they handled the same things with Biden incorrectly, not that they should be obsessed over Trump leaving off the "junior" in the Philippines's president's name. Leaving off that junior is none of the problems with Trump.
