Components and raw materials used to make domestic cars are tariffed and even if they weren’t, tariffs are going to raise prices on imports, decreasing competition, which will allow domestic manufacturers to also raise their prices.

Way too many components and materials cannot effectively be made or sourced here, at least for a long time, so prices on American built will go up as well.
