Of course not. Why would making things more expensive make things more expensive?
Of course not. Why would making things more expensive make things more expensive?
Non-Tariff (AKA actual) reasons car payments are higher: Advanced technology/safety features Regulatory (safety) compliance Higher interest rates Lower down payments Negative equity from trade-ins Low vehicle inventory
This is basically correct for current car prices. Tariffs will make them more expensive still.
We shall see, but doubtful. American-built cars will become cheaper.
No, they won’t.
lol No they won’t.
Hahahahahaha, have you heard of capitalism and the ever need for increased profits???
My point was that tariffs will not increase the prices of vehicles built in America.
Components and raw materials used to make domestic cars are tariffed and even if they weren’t, tariffs are going to raise prices on imports, decreasing competition, which will allow domestic manufacturers to also raise their prices.
Way too many components and materials cannot effectively be made or sourced here, at least for a long time, so prices on American built will go up as well.
