I think I'm nervous about doing it? I've avoided most spoilers but hear it's really dark. I'm genuinely uncomfortable with being pushed toward cruel choices in video games, and I am DEEPLY attached to some of the characters

I didn't think I'd be able to, because I wasn't sure I could get past the first major Durge thing that happens. I decided to play mine as a Durge redemption storyline, so they were fighting against those durges rather than giving into them. It's worth doing! The storyline is very cool.

Hmm as long as there's a resist option, I think I'll be ok. Thanks!

Also, I found it way easier to play my "redemption Durge" than doing evil playthru. I never made it very far into an evil playthru, despite trying a couple of times (because I wanted to squeeze all the juice out of the game that I could).

Yeah that reminds me of back in the day when I tried to do a pure Dark Side playthru of Star Wars: KOTOR, thinking it would be fun to be a proper baddie, and it just made me queasy... Decided I'll stick with my morally questionable but not completely horrible Ventress type characters

there is one dark thing you *cannot* stop everything else can be resisted.

I think that's the one I've heard about... but didn't realize that it was the _only_ time it was compelled. I'm big on redemption arcs so I don't mind spending the rest of the game making up for one terrible deed, so long as I wasn't forced to actively choose it
