Certain parts of our media have fallen to a new low this morning. Since when it is OK to print/publish the quotes of a convicted criminal who pleaded guilty to stirring up racial hatred onthe front page of a newspaper or website & using that to attack a government who had no role in the conviction.
Someone really needs to examine the language used by the BBC - why is her claim that she was a "political prisoner" a story? Why is an unworkable, unsubstantiated claim by a party with 5 MPs a "vow" as if they are preparing for government?
The BBC is openly promoting the right-wing, mainly around Reform and the narrative they want spread eg asylum seekers, boat crossings, assorted criminals attacjing the GOvt & judicial system. The BBC news is a national disgrace. It's rotting inside the Corporation, with right-wing promoters.

To my shame I subscribe to the Telegraph. In my defence I am addicted to the crossword (ex commuter). But every day I’m finding it almost unreadable. The disinformation and bullshit pumped out on a daily basis is incredible.

If we viewed them as an enemy attacking us physically instead of an annoying inconvenience to selectively ignore, and took action as such, bad faith media might think twice before publishing garbage. The root problem is they don’t fear their victims.

A large part of the traditional media, whether knowingly or unwittingly, will, if current trends persist, get Reform over the line to take power. It'll be a nightmare.
