Remember reading "The Coal Issue" of the Economist in the 90s. A whole issue praising coal.Think there was a single sentence about climate change, essentially saying "idiots, even if it were real, our graph here shows that the rate of acceleration of emissions is slowing", and a down-pointing graph

I was in my teens I think, and even with my limited math skills I could get that "but the total amount of emissions are dangerously high now, still increasing then, only not just quite ax fast? But you pick the second derivative and use it to show a line going down?"
