The hate on Gadot has really become ridiculous. Anyone claiming her performance in Wonder Woman wasn't acclaimed is just rewriting history at this point - she was immediately seen as iconic in the role. (And yes WW84 was bad but she didn't write it)

Just because the first WW was actually a good movie overall doesn’t excuse her poor acting in general. Literally the best scenes in WW were the scenes where she didn’t talk. She does not have range.

There are plenty of actors who don't have a lot of range but yet manage to do a convincing job when they get role that fit them. Keanu Reeves is a perfect exemple of this for instance. Wonder Woman fits that criteria as well.

And the point remains you can look up any reviews from the film releases and everybody was praising Gadot in the role. You're free not to like her of course but that wasn't the consensus. 🤷♂️
