There must be a word/phrase for voluntarily refusing to add new information to your worldview. I put my Samsung clamshell phone in a ziploc bag while canoeing in 2007 and the condensation messed up the speaker so it went "koff koff" instead of ringing thereafter. No way phones can go in the shower
I just got an Apple Watch and if you swim with it it does this thing where it spits the water out of the speakers when you come out.
This is also an expensive phone trait because the cheaper ones often aren't waterproof or are "water resistant" versus a flagship phone being able to fall into the tub with no damage
I wear my Bluetooth earbuds in the shower, love to hear my little shows

Waterproof is great, I don't get how people can deal with water drops being just as good a target to follow as my finger on a capacitive touch surface. Which list do I want to rocket through unintentionally?

I have a towel that I always have access to in the shower because i haaate water dripping down my face! Then i strategically use the parts of the shower stall that Do Not Get Wet while i wait the requisite 5 minutes to two years for my conditioner to do its thing
I guess that makes sense. I'm just busy cleaning other stuff or shaving during that waiting time! So my hands are never free
