The source you shared highlights only the LGBTQ piece, not capturing the full budget picture. Newsom’s proposed cut of about $17m from LGBTQ health programs is small (0.1%) relative to the $12b in his total proposed cuts. That said, I empathize it’d still be an unfortunate loss for the community.
