People like you make me realize that half hte battle with Trump is idiots on our own side, like you The facts here are clear: Trump would have gained a lot more power during a shutdown What isn't clear is, on balance, if voting for the CR was good or bad

Do you see any irony in calling this person an idiot while you’ve just pumped out multiple statements that are riddled with misspelling and basic grammatical errors? I mean, that’s pretty ironic, no? You’ve also discredited your own argument. “I may be right or I may be wrong”. That’s idiotic.

VOTING FOR THE CR WAS BAD, THAT IS HOW THEY ONLY NEEDED 51 VOTES ON BBB. you believe the democrats shouldn't fight at all! and you're not addressing any of my points. was Chuck the ONLY one to realize the DANGER of a shut down? or did he just screw over his colleagues for wall street?

I had not heard the argument that voting for the CR allowed the BBB to pass by reconciliation doesn't sound right to me, would be very interest to read about that

They’d be dealing with a shutdown. A shutdown they’d be blamed for because what the republicans were demanding for the cr was ridiculous. Voting for the CR surrendered their only leverage. the president decides what’s essential for a shutdown, but he can’t keep it shutdown and not be blamed.
