Ha! My face gives me away. I've forgotten to mention some minor things to them before, but they didn't search. I did get stopped by APHIS last time and they searched my bag, but luckily they were looking for fresh food, and he didn't care about anything else.

I once brought home manure tainted boots. Realized during the customs conversation what I’d done. “Do you live on a farm?” “No but my brother does” “do you visit him often?” “Every week” *bats fretting eyelashes* “and you’ll go home and immediately treat them with bleach?” “Thank you, sir” 🥰
