That is the wrong question. The correct question is what is the root cause of mass shootings or gun violence. Ex: If it is mental health, remove costs and access barriers. Remove guns if there is a threat. People guilty of DV should not be allowed guns. If called out. Take the guns.

Other countries have mental health problems, other countries have violent video games. Other countries do not have mass shootings on an almost daily basis, the problem is the access to guns. Civilians do not need extra large capacity magazines or semi automatic rifles.
