So you knew it was going to be a Nazi hub before the sale, right? Got any receipts?

If you paid attention, or if you thought independently and didn’t just ate what the media said, yes

I mean I think attempting to guilt a shareholder who realistically had no way to stop it from enjoying money from a moron is a little much, it was very obvious the road Musk was sprinting down. Mix that with the only people praising him constantly were far right jerks and yeah it was very likely.

Do you have receipts where you predicted it would go down that way, or are you conveniently eliding over facts that were pertinent at the time? It’s easy to say “it was very likely” when you have the benefit of hindsight.

On here? No. If I get the energy later and bored I might wander thru my archive of Twitter account but it wasn't some hidden thing. Quite a bit of inked was spilled in articles pointing out how bad he is and his desperate need for attention mixed with rampant fraud could only end one way.

I certainly do. 100%. And I wasn't some lone oracle on a hill here. What happened was a fairly likely outcome easy to see coming if you have any experience with forum moderation and alt-right personalities or what Musk was like at the time.

So does Stancil for that matter, and one of the reason he keeps returning to this topic is he was shouting into the void about what was going to happen if Musk was allowed to buy Twitter and he got pilloried on Twitter for it by some of the usual very serious people center-left types.

Their claim isn't that they couldn't stop it, so they had to try to enjoy their money they made from it. It's that they personally supported the purchase because it was a windfall for them.

I meant the idea of shareholders stopping it was so ludicrous they wouldn't seriously consider it, so your options were basically "this stock I bought during sane times is doing what!?" Or " Holy hell that bigot is ironclad stick and going to make me well off" it's natural to me for 2nd option to 1/

occur most often. (Note I would feel different if this was a long back and forth trade deal where pressure could have realistically be used, but it was such a clusterf from the start that I just can't blame someone for getting a mentally positive spin on it from the jump)

I just want to be clear that I do admit that I did get a vote, and I did vote with my 1000 shares to sell the company to Elon.

It was very obvious in early 22 that musk bought it to turn it into a far right propaganda sewer

That was indeed obvious to me. But I thought that turning Twitter into Gab would necessarily significantly reduce the importance of Twitter.

Yes and yes? Feel free to search my handle on Twitter under the same name where I talk several times about how obvious it is Musk's ownership will act like a red-pilled/alt-right moderation takeover and will involve manipulating site content in an Orwellian fashion to favor those views.

I ain’t searching that - much easier for you to triangulate those tweets and share a screenshot here, since you know when you wrote them and when. You’re also the one making the claim, so the burden of proof is on you. pic||gtfo

Here's a fun exchange where someone explains to me at length that I'm an idiot for arguing that Musk will use control of Twitter to shift the national direction towards the alt-right: x.com/EAlluia/stat...

Lol I’m not logging into X. In any case, under the climate at the time, do you think Dems would have been able to force the stoppage of the sale? If so, how? In your answer, please briefly describe how they would have circumvented the judiciary.
