Depends... did the people in that school have any tattoos or maybe had shrimp for breakfast? Perhaps they worshipped a different god or scripture. There are Christians who would find absolute justification for that action as a righteous act based on their scripture. Religion is wild like that.

They may not follow the same kind of Christianity as you but it’s still Christianity. Xian nationalism, supremacy, etc. are all very real problems and threats. There may be members in your church who are at risk of being targeted and converted. We can’t fix problems that we refuse to acknowledge.
