The UK has the UK Supreme Court. And this 'guidance' is the result of a court decision from them which was thoroughly contrary to any reasonable interpretation of equality law in the UK.
Oh dang I didn't know that! I think I just misread part of their comment tbh. I saw the word "states" and didn't read it as "says." Thanks for informing me! I feel kinda bad now for being misinformed, but at least I know now!
