My kid is trans. I don’t think Dems will massively harm trans folks. Any Dem. I guess we should check in with each other in a few years. See who was right.

Don’t be. I kicked ass as a parent of a trans kid. He’s very happy and doing well. He is equally pissed about people on our side on trans issues who didn’t vote for the Dem nominee in 2016 and 2024.
