Saw Cyndi at the Jabberwocky at Syracuse University Dec 83. The place was paced. Girls had been released but I had not heard it. She was touring all the clubs we played at; the night before was at the Continental in Buffalo. Felt like she was earning her way and punching a hole in the universe.

It was a great show. Though it was funny how they redid each song w the special guests each time. Almost seemed like they were about to with Cher except they realized they launched all the fireworks lol

We liked her at the time...but now I know I didn't appreciate her enough. She was better than we realized.

Its nice that Joni was there, but on a personal level, I can't listen to her voice knowing how messed up it is from smoking. That voice was once angelic. Kudos to all the rest of the artists... Cher still has it and SZA is terrific. And John legend is smooth as silk
How judgemental. She's coming 82 and has post polio syndrome from having polio as a child which can worsen with age and affect the voice.

I saw Cyndi years ago when she's came to Glasgow, Scotland - fabulous show and she was jumping on the back of the seats in the stalls while singing - brilliant!! I would have loved to have been here seeing Joni Mitchell especially - what a moment in time
