the thing is in comparison they "understood" HIV in the 1980s it took them 40+ years to invent a cure (well not really even a cure but they do supposedly have a vax finally, maybe) I am virtually positive a cure for me-cfs/long-covid won't happen in my lifetime, certainly not out of defunded US
