Under the Kennedy HHS, the term “chronic illness” is a subjective judgement call. Watch him withhold eligibility from those he determines to have made lifestyle choices that contributed to the illness.
I have several MAGA friends who drank themselves into cirrhosis of the liver and they are on disability and Medicaid. That was a lifestyle choice and we pay for them to sit around and complain about socialism.
No one said life was fair. But depriving people of basic medical coverage because they make bad choices feels fundamentally wrong.
Those MAGAts are fundamentally wrong. They hate everyone who isn’t white and Christian.
As someone who consciously made bad choices in spite of the teachings of my parents, I never felt like society owed me anything.
