It looks beautiful but would be hell in my wheelchair!
I’ll push you! (Silently cursing… ‘-)
WOW! So beautiful @michelemuse.bsky.social, thanks for sharing! ♥️
Yes there is! But some of its too far for me to get to now. Being old is not fun.
Not unknown - It's by vanessaclfrancisco - Google Image found it no problem. You should attribute it to her. First used on the town's page www.facebook.com/Monsanto.Ald... and her Insta page is at www.instagram.com/vanessaclfra...
CREDIT 👏👏👏✨✨✨
Came here to say the same thing, excellent.
Thank you for the reminder
Even in unexpected places, nature finds a way to remind us there’s still wonder to be found. Beautiful capture.
🤌🏾🤌🏾
Your job is to see whose photo you are using. This image taken by www.instagram.com/vanessaclfra... www.instagram.com/p/C_QxRhZsR7...
That cobblestone walkway with the beautiful buildings is majestic! Thank you for posting such a ray of sunshine on this sunny, Sunday morning up here in western MA.
💗thank you
Fabulous. It's why we love Europe.
And they have a real president not an imposter.
Well where should I start?
🫠
This is beautiful
I don't know anything about photography or art , but that photo is so .... Rich 🤌🏼
Nice use of the app Happy Color
Portugal is a kind, good, beautiful country!... Wish America would follow its lead!! 🌻🌷🪻
Check out Mndina and Valetta in Malta.
Beautiful 🤩
It would be good to see the actual unfiltered colour.
Still?
Oh, for a 4-year escape from the absolute dearth of common sense, daily carnage and cynical othering in the United States of America right now.
Why does anyone live anywhere other than old European villages?
Bc old european cities are also pretty neat.
Because I’m not physically healthy enough for the job requirements to be eligible to immigrate lol.
you can immigrate with passive income
Idk what kind of passive income I could possibly make that would 1. Be enough to qualify, and 2. I could still qualify for trying to leave the country..
Any kind that gives you about 40k euro/year
❤️🔥💙
It looks like the trail I walked through Portugal this February on El Camino de Santiago. The country is ancient and beautiful.
Such a lovely , dreamy view
That's a lovely reminder, especially after seeing the beauty of Córdoba and the... let's say, 'challenging' streets of Spain.
So pretty! 😍
Cool👽
I want to be there💖💖
Can’t wait to visit Portugal to see and feel all the beauty of its places and people.

Not for long
👏🏾🤩👏🏾😍
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
❤️
Perfect.
Beautiful
Beautiful! Monsanto (‘mountain’ + ‘holy’) is a village (aldeia) in the civil parish of ‘Monsanto e Idanha-a-Velha’ in Portugal and is situated nearly at the top of a mountain. youtu.be/L3UodEhk7Fw
My gosh what a beautiful work of art.
Hydrangeas 😍😍😍
Wooowowowowowowooooo Look at thatttttt Paradise 😍😍😍
That looks like a jigsaw puzzle box.
Beautiful ❤️
I wouldn't mind Portugal. I love their blue and white enamel.
That reminds me of the village my grandma lived in …. She lived in France a small village called REVIGNY , we would visit when my Dad was stationed in Germany !
Wow
Wow 🤩
thats very nice
😊😊😊😊
Thank you for posting this.
Lovely!
Beautiful picture. I really want to stroll up that street arm & arm with my husband.
Ahhhhh heaven, thanks.
Re Portugal. How beautiful and peaceful. Wish I were there and also wish I could hang it on my wall.
Lovely. There certainly is & Portugal offers an abundance of it!
Not for long. Migrants will rip it apart soon enough
💜💙💛
Beautiful country.
It’s all shady here. Just like our government. Shady pieces of shit. Looking forward to the day when the sun will shine again on our country. Dark gives us no justice.
But, Amazon deliveries?
Wish Murica looked like this. All we have are stroads.
As usual, beauty comes from individuals ... and Nature.
I thought this was a painting. 😮
So beautiful.
So beautiful!! On my to-do list!!
Try Gerês , Piodão , Couçe .
Absolutely beautiful!
It's just missing diversity!
Portugal is a beautiful country with beautiful people.
So beautiful. So peaceful looking
10/10 would quaff some port down this cobblestone street
🍷
The irony of the name…
Sure pretty
Soon pretty
❤️
Beautiful. It’s name is a little ironic though.
There is always beauty in the world, it is the beauty in humanity that is lacking.
So beautiful. I really want to visit Portugal.
wow that literally looks like paradise earth is underrated.
Yes there is. It is so worth saving.
Beautiful.
Fabulous
We're moving to Portugal in a month! Whoohoo!!
Gorgeous!
So beautiful. I saved to my Pinterest board without even thinking, under places to go, but will delete it if you want me to. It was just so pretty and I forgot where I was for a sec!! 😊
Monsanto it’s real and the all village it’s carved out of granite. Portugal it’s IA, it’s just beautiful and old.
I agree, but probably it’s just a bad coincidence, because for us means literally holly mountain probably because of its geological formation. We do bad things, not names.
The only Monsanto we know in the U.S. makes poisons.
WAY nicer than the evil-corp of the same name
The evil company that everybody still refers to was officially dissolved in 2018, following the acquisition by Bayer. So, luckily that is in the past, but Bayer isn’t.
And Bayer is still sullying the good name of Freistaat Bayern, so there's still work to do.
Thank you for the updated info !
I worked for them in their Chesterfield,mo location as the deal was going through and as the lymphoma case was going on.
Hope you’re healthy.
I worked on fixing their machines. I rarely use roundup since that guy's lymphoma suit.
Spot on. It shant ruin the image of the place.
Indeed
If only the Drumpf airport wreckers had not fired so many air traffic controllers - not to mention installing their goon-thugs at airports, free to harass and even arrest legitimate travelers!
An AI-enhanced photo is not beauty.
Would love to go there💕
The beauty of the earth and nature will always outshine the ugliness of humanity.
Storybook perfect!
What a beautiful place!
Beautiful
We just LOVE Portugal! Here are a couple of pics I took at Pena Palace.
So much beauty in the world. Safe happy waves from Canada loves Macy Gray song
What is the first thing you notice about this picture? A: No cars! It's cars that ruin cities towns even the countryside.
Beautiful!!!💜
Not in America.
Very beautiful 🤩❗️
But do people understand why this place is beautiful? It was built for foot traffic not cars, it has a proportional scale (building hight, space) that we find comfortable, it has incorporated greenery (Green Space) and it has usage of multi-color Stone not just the plain pale gray of cement.
In other words it was built for people not transportation and commerce.
Beautiful and calming
There is always beauty in the world. You just have to raise your head, clear your mind, and open your eyes, and you will find it in the simplest things.
And updating the bucket list...
🥰
Utterly charming.
oh yes please
Been on that street, lived in the south (Algarve) for 10 years. The Sw point of Portugal (Photo) was called "The end of the earth" by the Romans.
I first thought this was a painting, very Picturesque...
You know, Michelle, if I had this beautiful photo as a puzzle . . . I'd spend more time on assembling it, and less time on therapy.❤️😉 Thank you . . .🍁
Beautiful! Thx for sharing👏👏👏
Think i have a similar one from theologos Greece
Totally genetically modified photo
AI Strawberry Milkshake
So lovely and peaceful looking
Speaking of beauty, just been to southern France, and it’s stunning.
And we should fight if need be to protect it...
Been there, a strange hamlet, with lots of big rocks.
Photographer @vanessaclfrancisco
🥹How gorgeous
I WANT one!
One of my favorite villages.
The world is beautiful. It is humans who create, wreak havoc. Look at the flowers in a garden: beautiful hues & fragrances every day, hands-free; no harmful carbon footprint anywhere in sight. As a Native American Chief said ~150 years ago, "everywhere ... man touches; it is sore"
lovely
Oh wow, so beautiful. Makes me want to be there.
That’s like something out of Middle Earth.
Certainement, MAIS il faut savoir que le tourisme est une catastrophe pour les sites visités, dans la plupart des cas. Cela apporte de l'argent, mais aussi d'innombrables nuisances et destructions.
Wow.... very scenic....thx for sharing 👍🏽
💙
Nicer if the colours were not changed.
Lovely 👌🏾
I want to be there now!
Wow! I want whoever designed this to do my yard!
CALGON TAKE ME AWAY… to there, dammit
Monsanto...well thats sarcasm.
Actually aldeia Monsanto was established in the 12th century and archeologists have evidence that there have been human settlements in that same area from the Paleolithic period, so prehistoric. Please see my reply wherein I also posted a link to a video about this most Portuguese town.
Also AI is well known
It's not AI, the photographer is here: www.instagram.com/vanessaclfra...
It’s the problem when people oversaturate their pictures - they look artificial
Quite. I will bump vibrance, but rarely saturation.
I love to travel and I’ve seen beauty in other countries that you don’t see here in America. I think Americans should travel outside of the country to see the beauty in the world and open up their eyes.
A simpler time. A time we'd like to share and experience with each other.
If only we had places like this in my country…but America wants corporations, not community and natural beauty.
Not if your in England
Wow
it’s just not in the US
So beautiful!!
Very nice.
