She won them by 3% last year. In 2020 she and Biden won them by 22%. That almost 20 point drop off is why Trump won. If Ds can win back those voters (midterms)they can end Trump politically. And they can win them back, just like they can win back Gaza protest voters. But will they even try?
Trump's polling has created with Latinos, Asians, young voters all groups he made large gains with. I think Democrats can and will rebound with these voters but it will take work. But we need to properly level set. Trump didn't win any of these groups.
He gained 20 points! So what if he didn't get 51%? It's a 5 alarm fire, not anything to minimize. 20 pts is a game changing swing and it did change the game. Biden beat him, Harris didn't.
Because Trump hyping his narrow win (1.5%) is important to his propaganda and authoritarian efforts. Republicans never credited Biden with winning let alone for winning by more than any Republican has since 1988. Democrats always run scared, cower, and hype Republicans as 10 feet tall.
His narrow win isn't a much less than Harris' narrow 3% win with Latino vote. What isn't narrow is the minus 20 point shift in 4 years. It's catastrophic and it's how he won last year, like it or not.
Then say there was a large swing. Not that he won it. What is gained by pushing Trump propaganda?

The 20% lost between 2020 & 2024. You might think Ds can win without winning them back, but you'd be wrong. It's already been tested & proven they cannot.
