Fyi, my current understanding of the manifesto they found indicates that they chose to detransition well in advance of this shooting. So still "he", if that document is to be believed.

No idea. I was actually curious about that too and I'm having a hard time finding more solid reporting on that and the detrans aspect as well. I might have been incorrect. I feel like, from a narrative standpoint, I could certainly see how forced detransition could potentially lead to this.
