Personally, I hate what AI has become and is becoming. AI should not, in my opinion, exist except for tasks humans cannot do--- such as "data mining." Yet I also like seeing images made by AI. Ergo, I am conflicted.

I'm just as conflicted. But the idea that I should actually pay someone for clipart that I would otherwise just steal without credit doesn't keep me up at night. If your livelyhood depends on me doing the right thing, you're in the wrong business.

These large language models are also violating every copyright on the planet, they are highly literate and have read every novel, every short story, they have all illegally copied every literary work ever created and while copyright owners try to sue, they don't know who to sue to regain rights
