champions are the ones who fill their time with as many "points" as possible. Doesn't even matter if they make sense, they could be speaking in tongues - just needs to be fast and dense. Anyway I think about that anytime "debate" rears its big ugly stupid head.
I remember that episode! It was illuminating re: how dumb debate is as an extracurricular. An argument’s soundness was secondary. The goal was to flood the zone, so if you made 7 dumb points and your opponent made 4 good ones, you won. The whole GOP playbook right there.
