I’m not sure why Trump couldn’t have been sentenced to a, say, three year prison term plus a fine and restitution, with the prison term suspended indefinitely (at least for the duration of his term in office). Any thoughts?

If he knew he was going to jail after his term he would be even more determined to not give up the presidency!

Crap opinion. Are we at a place where we are fearful of what he may do if held accountable for his crimes? If so, then we are forever lost. This is the USA, not some banana republic.
