Trump’s military parade showcased the U.S. military’s uniforms and flags from the Revolutionary War to WWII. But one was absent: the Confederate uniform and flag. That’s because the Confederate army was an enemy of our U.S. government. Yet Trump, J.D. Vance, and Pete Hegseth continue to praise it.

Since the end of the Civil War, "the south will rise again" has echoed through the southern states. What most don't realize is that the Confederacy never truly left. It waited. Now we are being ruled by it.
