There was no overreach. A man was arrested for committing a pretty serious crime, and, when he had a medical episode during the arrest, he was treated fairly and promptly in accordance with their duty of care. As *should* happen when someone in custody has a medical need.
I would like to note in the context of that *many* people with serious mental illnesses die in the custody of the various UK police forces every year because their medical needs are *not* taken seriously and treated promptly, in *violation* of their duty of care.

And when that happens their deaths are barely reported, if at all, and certainly not commented upon by the Prime Minister. Funny how the privilege of being a wealthy, privileged bigot works, isnβt it?
