Because if we continue to violate the CUSMA deal then so can they. Can you imagine if the 90% of tariff free goods protected by CUSMA suddenly had a 35% or higher tariff added what that would do to the Canadian economy.

No but Canada is violating CUSMA and USA is not. That was a mistake Trudeau made. How do we make a deal while breaking the current one!
