The guy is from RI. 1st sentence of the 1st Amendment came from RI its sole existence has to do with the right to have “Liberty of Conscience”. No Government sanctioned religion. He’s violated of many parts of his oath to defend and protect.

There’s a reason it came first. Religion has always been the biggest threat to freedom. It has killed the United States.

The founders learned from antiquity that having a religious state, like England with Henry Vlll, one could be killed if one wasn’t practicing the “right religion”. This “separation of church and state” started with Roger Williams and the Charter. Liberty of Conscious is important and personal.
