I’m not currently watching it, but are the other people coming up to the podium or are the passing a mic around? Did he actually move from his position?

He did sort of pivot away and then step back behind it, though you could see a few people unclasp their hands when he did it. My inner optimist read it as they were bracing to catch him.

He did step back from the podium and then step up to it again. Though when he stepped back he genuinely looked like he was falling asleep standing up while everyone else talked.
