I will never vote for Gavin Newsom, and I encourage every person I know to likewise eschew voting for him. If you vote for him, I’ll know you simply don’t think of me or people like me as fully human or deserving of rights, and I’ll respond accordingly. Democrats, you have to do better than this.
I don't want him to be president, but I do love what he's doing right now.
If he were just a shitposter trolling the fascists in chief, I wouldn’t care. Unfortunately, any good he might be doing is so heavily undercut by his transphobia and his hatred for poor people that he’s just positioning himself as a version of Trump liberals can tolerate voting for.
That's why I don't want him as president.
