I'm glad that you didn't have to experience these up close. When you tell of how you are experiencing it now, it does so resemble what so many other nations have also experienced. I apologize for coming off so rudely. It has to be surreal. So now that you've started blinking again, what now?
No worries, it's the internet, I don't take much personally. I've been expecting this for years so it's less shocking for me. Right now I'm trying to help people here in Dallas adjust to our new reality. Also practicing mending clothes since prices will skyrocket.
There was a time that as I read the Bible, I'd think of all the resistance that I'd do...sabotage/assassination attempts...all the 'bravery' that I'd show. But now in my generation...this 'new reality' is no joke. We are at square 1 in determining direction. I'm happy to know that you are moving.
