I don’t know about my neighbor. But for my wife and I , im not aware that We had Covid, And we had tested ever since tests were available. Interesting how now they don’t recommend the vax for younger healthy adults and definitely not for young children. Too much downside risk.
I wouldn't believe a damn thing RFK Jr recommends. The man was a heroin addict for god sakes. I prefer getting my health information from real doctors and real researchers. None of whom RFK Jr. Is relying on for his false information and misinformation.
I don’t follow him. I have severe DTS. But the vax mandate Biden put into effect was very wrong and it does seem to me Covid is severely weaken from what it was in 2020/2021. And I do believe greed and money -pharma- drive a lot of this and it’s BS -to me.
The vax mandate was put in place initially as a safeguard to protect people since they didn't understand enough about covid at that point. All they knew was that more people were dying from a virus than we have seen in close to 100yrs. Once they understood more it was removed. That's science.
That what they believe , it was a panic move. Most of those who died were compromised already; obesity, diabetes, cancer, etc. the vast majority had other co-morbidities. The vax should have need available to everyone but target to that population. The mandate was a panic decision.
Most of our population is compromised or has comorbidities or pre-existing conditions. Pregnancy is a pre-existing condition. Aging a pre-existing condition. And on and on.
Looked at from your perspective: You're telling me that our government shouldn't have cared about all the people with compromised immune systems or all the elderly that were at risk? You keep forgetting that in the beginning they didn't understand enough about covid but there were mass casualties.
Are you talking about the vax or the mandate? My other daughter is immuno compromised. Kidney transplant. We lived it realtime. We wanted the vax but it was out choice. It now is a different time. She has had covid multiple times. Thank God she is fine. I would never tell her not to get boost
Long-term studies now being published using credible scientific data link people who survived covid and long-term effects, even if not easily identifiable. Much like the way chickenpox causes shingles later in life and Epstein Bar virus is linked to MS. I prefer they continue improving the vaccine.

Do you not understand that every variant is different? Some of the newer variants aren't as deadly as the initial one was. But that could change on a dime. I hope your daughter remains well. But for one I am not willing to take chances. Covid is not one disease which makes it especially dangerous.

It wasn't a panic move. You don't wait until something gets completely out of control before trying to stop or control it. Also, it wasn't just people who already had compromised immune systems. I know a number of people who had nothing wrong with them that died from covid.
It was panic just as people Injecting ivermectin and other alternatives was panic. Only they had so much distrust they chose totally unproven alternatives and many or most of them still believe in it.
Well over a million people died, and still counting BTW. I'd say the panic was justified. They didn't know enough about the disease to just let it continue running unchecked. Here in NY we were especially devastated. The CDC did what was best at the time with the limited info they had. I'm grateful!
