in the interim of posting that, I googled the guy, and lo. I swear to god I legit didnt know who that photo was of. i just thought he looked like he played bass. I actually even meant Bass Guitar, because he reminded me of Victor Wooten, who is a friend of my family (The bassist for Bela Fleck)

I was not making a joke, besides that I thought it was funny that I thought he looked like he played bass. I 100% did not know who that man was unless it was subconscious. lmfao.

I am happy to share my ignorance in this because its way cooler to share the coincidence with everyone. I had NO idea who this dude was (I have *heard* of Charles Mingus Jr but I had no idea what he looked like and did not even know he played bass)

Also my mom plays bass (standup and guitar) so its certainly subconscious knowledge or I just have absorbed the vibes over the years of interaction with bassists.
