Unfortunately things have been hard for the past 5 years. But that's neither here nor there. I'm really sorry for being a buzz kill. I originally meant it as a dark joke, but I saw it bothered you, and for that I'm truly sorry.

Now, don't you worry about that. Usually, I would have taken your dark humor in stride, but there were SO. MANY. PEOPLE who seemed to be genuinely upset. I won't make that mistake again.
